Welcome to sailing at Henley Sailing Club! As an accredited Discover Sailing Centre, we are excited to open registration for our upcoming learn-to-sail programs.

Whether you are a complete beginner, returning to the sport, or looking to get out on the water with friends, our qualified Australian Sailing Instructors are here to guide you through a safe, fun, and supportive experience.

We are fully accredited to deliver the following Australian Sailing courses:

Start Sailing 1 & 2 (Small Boat Sailing for ages 16+)
Out There Sailing
Powerboating

🗓️ Upcoming Course Dates (2026 & 2027)

Introductory learn-to-sail lessons run throughout the summer season from November to March.

Session Times: Sundays, 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Course Fee: $180 per person (GST inclusive) — open to ages 16 and over.

🎒 What’s Included?

We supply all necessary equipment to ensure you have a hassle-free day on the water:

Boats and safety equipment
Life jackets
Light lunch provided

Please note: Attendance at all sessions is required to complete the course. If a session is cancelled due to weather (e.g., too much wind), a catch-up session will be scheduled.

🌊 Beyond the Course: Saturday Casual Sailing

Once you complete your Start Sailing course, your journey doesn't stop there! All particpants are invited to join our Saturday morning social sailing sessions—a great way to practice your fundamental boat handling skills, build confidence, and connect with the club community.

📝 How to Register (Step-by-Step)

Registration is handled online. Follow these quick steps to secure your spot:

Get an Australian Sailing Number: If you do not have one, click "New Member" at the bottom of the sign-up page.
Enter Your Details: Fill in your registration information.
Select Member Category: Choose DISCOVER SAILING (there is $0 fee for this category).
Register for the Course: Once your free account is created, complete your course registration.
